Construction commences for two new halls and a conference center
A historic project
An investment in the future and a historic project—that’s the construction of the two new exhibition Halls C5 and C6 as well as the Conference Center Nord. On June 28, 2016 comes the first cut of the spade followed by the laying of the foundation stone on December 1, 2016.
Messe München is thus creating the space that’s urgently required in order to satisfy the increasing demand from exhibitors at world-leading fairs like bauma, BAU, IFAT and ISPO. With the construction of Halls C5 and C6 and the new conference center, the plans for the new exhibition center which was opened in 1998 are now conclusively realized. After two years of construction and as from 2018, Messe München will have a total of 18 halls with exhibition space of 200,000 square meters altogether and around 400,000 square meters of open-air exhibition ground.
